Protests
Protests must be submitted in writing no later than 15 minutes after the main event. Protest fee is $250.00. Any item that is found to be illegal, will be confiscated and driver penalty will be determined by promoter and officials. Minimum penalty will be fine, loss of points, award for that event and suspension. If item is found to be legal, car owner will receive $ 150.00 with remainder of protest fee going to the tear down mechanic. All fines must be paid before competitor can compete again. Only people allowed at a tear down will be the promoter or representative thereof, the tech official, and the owner.
