RACING RULES

1. CAR IDENTIFICATION

a) Track officials may require change in size, color, or number if deemed necessary for scoring.

b) Cars must be registered with the raceway before competing and receiving points and prize money.

c) Numbers assigned to cars must be displayed on the following manner: Both doors, roof, front and rear of car. Roof and door numbers must be at least 18” high with minimum of 3” brush stroke. Number on roof of car must be readable from the passenger side of car.

d) Last years numbers will be reserved to previous owner until March 1st of each year.

2. EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT

a) No one will be allowed on the track surface until emergency services are on the premises.

b) Pit steward will determine when drivers may bring cars onto racing surface.

3. EMERGENCIES

a) No one will be allowed on the track surface other than emergency crews during any event unless requested by track officials.

b) Failure to abide will result in immediate suspension by track officials and remain in effect until notified by track management that suspension has been lifted.

c) In case of accident, drivers are to remain in cars unless in immediate danger, such as fire.

4. SAFETY IN THE PIT AREA

a) All vehicles must observe 5 mph speed limit in pits. Violation of this rule will result in a fine of $300.00 and/or immediate suspension for one race event. This rule applies to all pit personnel. No one is allowed to ride on a vehicle in the pits. Violation of this rule will be considered a safety hazard and driver of car involved will be suspended and fined $300.

b) No four wheelers allowed in pit area without pre registration with track insurance.

5. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

a) Helmets are required to be worn at all times while on track surface. Helmets must meet or exceed Snell 2000 requirements. Helmets must be in good condition.

b) Eye protection required goggles or shield accepted.

c) Window nets required on all stock cars in drivers side window opening. Must be mounted so it will restrain drivers arms and head to drivers compartment and can be easily dropped from either inside or outside of the car.

d) All cars must have main battery switch easily accessible for driver and emergency personnel. Main battery switch must be painted red and kill the engine.

e) Use of sheet metal screws are not allowed.

f) Mirrors are not allowed unless stated in class rules.
